Trump convida ministros de louvor da Bethel Church para culto na Casa Branca

O governo do presidente Donald Trump iniciou uma rotina de cultos de louvor na Casa Branca às vésperas do Natal, e nesse ano, os músicos da Bethel Church foram convidados para celebrar o momento de adoração.

Com a presença do vice-presidente do país, Mike Pence, o culto foi realizado a convite de Trump e a cantora Jenn Johnson usou o Instagram para publicar uma foto ao lado do filho nos corredores da sede do governo norte-americano.

“Brian e eu fomos convidados para liderar a adoração na #WhiteHouse ontem! Participamos de um #FaithBriefing com outros líderes e conhecemos nosso presidente Donald Trump, impusemos as mãos nele e oramos!”, escreveu a artista.

“Este governo precisa de nós. Eles precisam da nossa oração e precisam da graça. Ninguém é perfeito, e isso vale para nós. […] É prejudicial julgar alguém ou pensar que você conhece o coração deles. Então ore. Ore pelo nosso presidente. Ore pela equipe. Ore pela vontade de Deus em nossa nação. Não critique, zombe e amaldiçoe. […] É isso que muda as coisas”, acrescentou a ministra de louvor.

Sean Feucht, que também integra a equipe de louvor na Bethel Church, também usou o Instagram para publicar vídeos da celebração: “Fomos convidados por esta administração para adorar hoje na Casa Branca. Deixe esse som dar-lhe uma grande esperança para a América”.

De acordo com informações do portal Guia-me, outros músicos cristãos renomados, como Kari Jobe e seu marido Cody Carnes, Eddie James e a assessora e pastora da Casa Branca, Paula White-Cain cantaram a música Nothing Else.

Brian & I were invited to lead worship @ the #WhiteHouse yesterday! We attended a #FaithBriefing w/ other leaders & got to meet our president @realdonaldtrump & lay hands on him & pray!⚡️The presence of God was so strong in worship & prayer. We DECLARED some things.💥I saw angels on assignment! We heard from our Vice President @mikepence @ivankatrump & other staff members. Hearing them speak was exciting about the good that’s happening that you don’t hear about on bias media & heart breaking at the same time to hear of all they are fighting w/ #HumanTrafficing #ReligiousFreedom #Abortion #Communism & so much more. Sobering. This administration needs us. They need our prayer & they need grace. No one is perfect, ourselves included. They literally have the weight of the world on their shoulders. It’s detrimental to judge someone or think you know their heart. So pray. Pray for our president. Pray for the staff. Pray for Gods will to be done in our nation. Don’t criticize, mock & curse.
